XVI: Not Ready for PrimeTime Letter

Dear Author,

First of all, thank you for writing for me :) I'm really glad that we've matched on any of my requests, and knowing that already makes me happy! I apologize that my dreamwidth and livejournal is so empty (I usually use it for fic) but here are some things I like and don't like in general:

General Likes: I'm a sucker for happy endings/earn your happy endings. I love canon, post-canon things, missing scenes, what if's, h/c, realizing what's been there all along, telling a story from different viewpoints, letter writing :) I pretty much love most tropes also, as can be seen in some of my fanfics. :) AU is lovely and I honestly would like this since I can't write any of it :) (Modern, school, medieval, anything :)) I love gen, introspective stuff also :)

General Dislikes: I'm really easy to please, though I would ask that there be no particularly horrible science or medicine in the stories unless it is relevant to the time period of the story, since am a scientist. Beliefs and old treatments are okay (for example, the bloodletting if medieval), don't worry. Just er, nothing too confounding? Haha. I'd also rather not have graphic non-con or A/B/O with my pairings, though if non-con itself is needed, please do so but not very graphically.

Here are some specific prompts (and some rambling on why I like the series I've requested) but remember, optional things are optional! :) If you have a great idea for any of these please feel free to use that instead :)

Requests:

Captain America (Movies)
Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanov, Sam Wilson

Ships: Steve/Natasha

I didn't know what to expect going into Captain America 2, but I ended up loving the movie, especially how these three characters interact with each other <3 How they support each other yet are strong alone :) Especially Sam! And Steve and Natasha have such a bromance/possible romance vibe that tugged at my heartsleeves!

But I would be happy with the three of them just say, meeting up to exchange news (and maybe take a break) post Winter Soldier :) Or Natasha setting up Steve on more dates (maybe Sam and she are wingmen/women?)! Or Steve just finding out more of the new world (like Thai food! and Steve Jobs!) :)

Chronicles of Narnia
Caspian, Lucy

I grew up with this series and still love it even if I can see how strongly influenced it is by Catholicism. :)

Ships: Caspian/Lucy

Prompts: I always thought there could have been more between these two in Voyage of the Dawn Treader :) Not so much in Prince Caspian, but yes, in Dawn Treader <3 Could there have been a way for them to work? (Lucy staying in Narnia?) Or would they have loved each other but remembered that they couldn't last?

Gen is also welcome with either or both of them! How does Lucy keep faith in Narnia despite being tossed back in the real world? Does she talk with her siblings about Narnia, those who know and choose to remember it? Does she keep it close to her heart? Caspian's days post Dawn Treader, ruling as a King (with his new wife)! It was heartbreaking for me to get to the point in Silver Chair where Eustace came to find out that his (hard-earned) friend had died :(

Divergent
Caleb Prior, Tris Prior, Four, Christina

I went into this series wondering if it was another Hunger Games and it wasn't (for me) - I appreciated that there was no love triangle, though the ending made me cry. But the determination, the humanity of these characters kept me turning the pages, and makes me wish to read anything more about them :)

Ships: Four/Tris

Prompts: I would be lying if I didn't want a happier ending for the end of this series, but I do understand why Roth ended it like that. (But any happy ending AUs are much welcome!) Post-Canon, how Four, Christina, and Caleb (or any of them) make their way in the new world. Caleb, how he became who he was (with the books hidden in his room)? AUs - I always felt that the series could have gone many different ways.

Gyakuten Saiban | Ace Attorney
Athena Cykes, Simon Blackquill, Ema Skye, Klavier Gavin

I love Ace Attorney :) I love it and have played all the games except for Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney and Miles Edgeworth 2 :) I love this quirky cast of characters and how they interact with each other :) The improbable cases (with lazy villains! wild imaginations!)! Court banter! :) The humor!

Ships: Simon/Athena, Klavier/Ema

Prompts: Casefic! Or just relaxing at the Wright Anything Agency/Prosecutor's Office! I would love funny fics in this fandom :) Or h/c (especially in Simon/Athena's case, more realistically) :)

Gen prompts: I'd like fic on Ema - I was wondering where she was the whole of DD. Has she finally passed her forensics test? Is she still working under Klavier? Or under Edgeworth? :) On Simon, how does one adjust to the world outside bars (more people to terrorize with Taka? He can actually carry a sword!)? How did Athena meet Phoenix? How does Klavier deal with not being a rock star anymore - does he still secretly write songs?

Simon/Athena - would like post-canon fic -> maybe Athena tries to help Simon adjust to life beyond bars? Takes him shopping or to the barber? How do two people who are ready to throw away their lives for each other get together? (Possibly some angst, maybe some meddling friends, maybe some 'therapy', maybe something like a mad criminal?)

Klavier/Ema - I like to think that maybe Ema was helping Klavier in DD with the evidence, maybe a missing scene like that? Or any office fic, with Klavier teasing/flirting with her? Does Ema ever get affected by Klavier's sex appeal (and will she succumb? And maybe give him a dose of his own medicine?)?

Rurouni Kenshin
Himura Kenshin, Kamiya Kaoru, Myoujin Yahiko, Sagara Sanosuke

I've read the manga and watched the anime and the OAVs :) RK was my first serious anime/manga and I still love it more than ten years later :) I particularly love how well fleshed out each character is and how they've become so much of a family to each other :)

Ships: Kenshin/Kaoru

Prompts: Ensemble fic! Hijinks in the dojo! Post-Canon things! Missing scenes! Kaoru finally teaching Yahiko the succession technique for Kamiya Kasshin! Sano and Kenshin having chats about the ladies! Kaoru just plainly kicking ass (and maybe getting more students)! Anything would be lovely :)

Song of the Lioness
Alanna of Pirate's Swoop and Olau, Alexander of Tirragen, Buriram Tourakom, Francis of Nond, Gareth I of Naxen, George Cooper, Jonathan of Conté, Raoul of Goldenlake and Malorie's Peak, Thayet jian Wilima, Thom of Trebond

I have a soft spot for this series since it's the first Tamora Pierce series I read :)

Ships: George/Alanna, Jonathan/Thayet, Buri/Raoul

Prompts:
Alex: I always felt there was a lot happening with Alex behind the scenes of the books. What did Alex do as Roger's squire? What would Alex want to wish for with Roger's ascending to the throne? Could Alex had known more about Alanna than other people did?

George/Alanna: I always wondered how Alanna's wedding would have gone. Would there be controversy with mixing people from the Court of the Rogue and nobility? Or George and Alanna, just raising their little children. Or what mission were George and Alanna on when she gave birth to Thom?

Alanna/Jonathan/Raoul/Gary: Tamora Pierce said that they're much better friends than ever post series and that they see each other all the time at balls and matters of state! I'd like to see some of those, or maybe missing scenes from when they were still pages/squires! :)

Buri/Thayet: I'd like to know how they settled in Corus, especially with Thayet being courted by Jonathan. How they set up schools and the Queen's Riders, or maybe the incident of Thayet's Dress fleshed out :)

Francis: I always had a soft spot for him :( Anything about the quiet boy who did not live to be a man would be lovely.

Buri/Raoul: They aren't a couple until Protector of the Small, but I love their friendship (and similar aversion to balls) :) How did the first years of the Queen's Riders and the first years of changing up the King's Own go for each of them? Did they train with each other?
