XVII: Night on Fic Mountain Letter

Dear Author,

First of all, thank you for writing for me :) I'm really glad that we've matched on any of my requests, and knowing that already makes me happy! I don't have much in my livejournal/dreamwidth but feel free to look around at LJ/DW/fanfiction.net/AO3 :) Here are a few things I generally like and dislike:

General Likes: I love happy endings/earn your happy endings. I love post-canon things, missing scenes, what if's, h/c, realizing what's been there all along, letter writing, telling a story from different points of view :) I pretty much love most tropes also, as can be seen in some of my fanfics. :) AU is lovely and I honestly would like this since I can't write any of it :) (Modern, school, medieval, anything :)) I love gen, introspective stuff also :) And I love humor (but don't feel pressured to write it!) :)

General Dislikes: I'm really easy to please, though I would ask that there be no particularly horrible science or medicine in the stories unless it is relevant to the time period of the story, since am a scientist. Beliefs and old treatments are okay (for example, the bloodletting if medieval), don't worry. Just er, nothing too confounding? Haha. I'd also rather not have graphic non-con or A/B/O with my pairings, though if non-con itself is needed, please do so but not very graphically.

Regardless of the length of the prompts for the different fandoms I've requested, I would dearly love fanfiction for any of them! <3

Requests:
Clarissa Explains It All
Clarissa Darling, Ferguson Darling, Janet Darling, Marshall Darling, Sam Anders

With the announcement of a book on what Clarissa would be doing in the future coming out this Fall, I ended up revisiting this series :) I'd love anything about this series since there's so few fanfiction for it :)

Ships: Clarissa and Sam have one of the best friendships I recall on TV -> I don't mind them just staying buds (and maybe Clarissa is Sam's wingman?) but I can also see them deciding later on in life that maybe they should give romance another try. <3

Prompts: What did Clarissa, Sam, and Ferguson (or any of them) end up doing (in college or beyond?)? Does Sam still climb into Clarissa's room/apartment/house even in their old age? (As joked in one episode) How do the Darling parents deal with their kids grown up? Or pre-canon, how did Clarissa and Sam meet? How does Ferguson deal with high school (since I have a bad feeling he'd be bullied)? Maybe Clarissa's parents advising her on a problem? Ensemble fic would be lovely as well. :)

Chihayafuru
Ayase Chihaya, Wataya Arata, Mashima Taichi

[Note: Spoilers for latest Chihayafuru manga chapters below.]

I love this series for making me interested in a sport I can't play <3 And the characters - Taichi and his memorization skills (not flashy but amazing), Chihaya's pure love for karuta, and Arata's style of playing :)

Ships: Chihaya/Arata, Taichi/Chihaya

Prompts:
I would love something post-series for this :) Maybe what happens when Chihaya challenges the Queen someday? (And who is the queen? Shinobu? Inokawa?) Will Arata ever become Meijin? (And if he does, who will he challenge for the title? Suou? Harada-sensei?) Or will Taichi ever try for Meijin? (And maybe challenge Arata?) I found it very interesting that Taichi, while not particularly strong compared to many other Class A players, was not lured into committing faults when he played against Suou (which is supposedly Suou's playing style to beat others), I feel that so much can be explored from that. Will Taichi ever beat Chihaya in a serious match? What do the three of them do after high school? (Does Taichi go to medical school? We know Arata plans to go to Tokyo to study, but what will he study? And Chihaya's plan to become a teacher, will that come true?)

I've read up to the latest chapters and plan to keep up, so feel free to incorporate the latest chapters in your fic :)

Anne of Green Gables
Anne Shirley, Diana Barry, Gilbert Blythe, Una Meredith, Walter Blythe

I have a soft spot for Anne of Green Gables - I used to read the whole series every year as a teenager :) I'd love anything from this series <3

Ships: Anne/Gilbert, Una/Walter

Prompts: Missing scenes from the books! Anne and Diana friendship! Anne showing her old stories to her children! Gilbert and Anne in their married life! Modern AUs or AUs in general would be much welcome! (What if Walter didn't die? What if Gilbert's first proposal to Anne went differently?) Samples of Walter's writing! What were those omitted parts in Anne's letters to Gilbert in Anne of Windy Poplars?

Re Una/Walter: I always wished they could have had a happy ending. If Walter hadn't died, would there be a chance for them? But I'd also love to hear Una post-war, how does she deal with Walter's death? What will she end up doing?

Protector of the Small
Raoul of Goldenlake and Malorie's Peak, Tobeis Boon, Domitan of Masbolle, Keladry of Mindelan, Nealan of Queenscove

I love this series! <3 I love Kel and her being so determined to do what people think she can't, Neal and his snarkiness (yet buried soft heart), Raoul and his fatherly interactions with Kel (and his roaring when he gets mad, his falling from the saddle when he is hungry, etc), Dom and his entrancing blue eyes (haha, I mean his camaraderie with anyone, his supportiveness of Kel, and how he always baits Neal but is clearly very close to him), and Tobe (determined to protect/help Kel even though he is still young) :)

Ships: I love Dom/Kel, but I thought Neal/Kel had potential :)

Prompts:

General: Post-Lady Knight fic! What happened at Raoul and Buri's wedding? What happened at Neal and Yuki's (eventual) wedding? Going ons at New Hope as the war ends! Kel traveling with the Own as a Lady Knight (and maybe being prepared to command it someday)?

Kel: How would Kel interact with her new squire (in the future)? What does Kel do next when she finally gets to return to Corus? (She could make a living as an accidental/deliberate matchmaker with three couples to her name ^^;) Will she ride with the Own or maybe be assigned somewhere else?
Neal: Neal's viewpoint on events in the series! (Or maybe his time squiring for the Lioness!) Kel just kicking ass like she always does :)
Tobe/Tobe & Kel: What does Tobe end up wanting to do in the future (an hostler? a rider? making sure Kel doesn't get into trouble?)? Does he end up traveling with Kel even after his bond is up?
Raoul: Raoul and Kel interacting (did Raoul plan for Kel to become his successor?) :) Raoul settling into married life - during or after the war!
Dom: Moving up in the Own, any shenanigans with his squad, anything post-canon. :)
Dom & Neal: Dom and Neal cousin-ship :) (I believe that their letters while Neal and Kel were pages and Kel was riding with the Own was just them exchanging incredulity over whatever Kel did.) How exactly did the name 'Meathead' come about?
Neal & Kel: Neal-Kel friendship continuing over the years (and possibly becoming godsparents to each other's children)!

Romance prompts:
Dom/Kel: how would Dom and Kel get together (if ever)? (Would there be meddling Neal, or would he just be complacent about it like he was with Cleon?) Would it be in the heat of battle or when the war settles, or when they're much older? Will they have children?
Neal/Kel: If not for Lord Wyldon's rule on flirtations, I thought that maybe something would have happened. Kel's crush on Neal was so cute :) Maybe something about their page days?
