Dear Fic Corner Writer:

First of all, thank you for writing for me :) I'm really glad that we've matched on any of my requests, and knowing that already makes me happy! I don't have much in my livejournal/dreamwidth but feel free to look around at LJ/DW/fanfiction.net/AO3 :) Here are a few things I generally like and dislike:

General Likes: I love happy endings/earn your happy endings. I love gen, introspective stuff (things that show sides of the character we might not get to explore in canon) :) I love pre/post-canon things, missing scenes in the canon, what if's, h/c, realizing what's been there all along, letter writing, telling a story from different points of view :) I pretty much love most tropes also, as can be seen in some of my fanfics. :) AU is lovely and I honestly would like this since I can't write any of it :) (Modern, school, medieval, anything :)) And I love humor (but don't feel pressured to write it!) :)

General Dislikes: I'm really easy to please, though I would ask that there be no particularly horrible science or medicine in the stories unless it is relevant to the time period of the story, since am a scientist. Beliefs and old treatments are okay (for example, the bloodletting if medieval), don't worry. Just er, nothing too confounding? Haha. I'd also rather not have graphic non-con or A/B/O with my pairings, though if non-con itself is needed, please do so but not very graphically. 

Regardless of the length of the prompts for the different fandoms I've requested, I would dearly love fanfiction for any of them! <3

Please remember that the following are just suggestions, optional details are optional; feel free to ignore if you have a great idea that you'd rather write :) 

Anne of Green Gables
Anne Shirley, Gilbert Blythe, Diana Barry, Katherine Brooke

I love Anne of Green Gables :) I especially love in Anne how different females interact with each other and their friendships, so anything showing Anne and Diana's friendship or Anne and Katherine's friendship would be very welcome. :) Conversely, I would like to know what happened to Diana or Katherine after Anne's marriage - how did their lives go? Did Katherine find love (and what were her jet-setting adventures?)? Did Diana ever have an instance where she liked Josie Pye? How does Diana live in Avonlea those years Anne was away (at school, moved away, etc)? 

Anything about Anne would be lovely - any new scenes pre, post or within canon would be very much appreciated. How does Anne deal with all the weddings of her kids after the war? Any scenes of life before Green Gables! All the scrapes she must still get into as a married woman! ^^;

I love Gilbert, I've always wanted more about him. Anything from his point of view would be lovely, like his thoughts on certain scenes in canon, the initiation ritual he had in Redmond, his work as a doctor, Queens school, etc. :) Anything pre or post canon would be lovely too, like maybe his passing on the practice to Jem :)

If you are so inclined, my OTP for this series was always Anne/Gilbert, so I'd welcome anything around that lines, happy or sad (Book 8, when Jem went missing and Walter died would be possible hurt/comfort). What I liked about this pairing was the easiness/friendship mixed with romance, so I'd like to see something like that. :) 

I'd welcome Modern retellings or AUs of any kind for this series very much too :) (would Anne be a fanfiction writer in modern times while writing the great Canadian novel? How would the Story Club be done in modern times? If the infamous slate scene was done, what would be used to hit Gilbert instead?)

Chronicles of Narnia
Lucy Pevensie, Caspian

I'd like to see Lucy at any point in the series - before, during, and post-Dawn Treader. How does she grow up still believing in Narnia? What does Narnia change about her, what does it influence her to be in the real world? How does she deal with her parents and friends after Narnia? We see Lucy in books 2, 4, 5 very prominently - what if she had done something differently, what would have changed?

 

Caspian, I'd like to see how he managed to rule post-Dawn Treader (with his new wife!) :) It was heartbreaking for me when I read how sad Eustace was that he had died (in the Silver Chair).  Anything about his time as a ruler pre/post-Dawn Treader would be very nice :)

 

For pairings, I'm a sucker for Lucy/Caspian (but don't feel you have to write it if you don't like it!) - what if Caspian didn't find his wife on the journey on the Dawn Treader? Or how could this pairing work? (Lucy gets stuck in Narnia post Dawn Treader/Prince Caspian)? 

AUs would be very welcome :) 

Divergent
Tris Prior, Four, Christina

I'd love anything post-series for Four or Christina (or Four and Christina). How do they deal with this new world? What does Christina end up doing? Four's rise as a politician, his interactions with his mother, anything :) I also wouldn't mind a change in ending of the series, if you are so inclined (I bawled at the end of Allegiant - I know it made sense to end that way, but still!). 

With Tris, there were a lot of things left unsaid. I'd like to see fic about her that deals with her interactions with family, friends, or maybe how she reconciles her thoughts on them. 

 

I'd also like a little more exploration of the conflicted friendship Christina and Tris had - post Will, post revelation of Tris killing Will, anything would be appreciated.

 

If you want to pair Four and Christina up I wouldn't mind :) (I always thought that they had some potential - though I think what they have might not last because of the memory of Tris. Still, I think they have something there.) I also like Tris/Four a lot. :)

 

I always thought that a million changes can be made for Divergent which would completely change the story -I'd appreciate that also! What if Tris had gone into another faction? What if certain people didn't die?

Protector of the Small 
Domitan of Masbolle, Keladry of Mindelan, Lerant of Eldorne, Nealan of Queenscove, Peachblossom

I really love this series and would love more fic :)

 

I love all the characters in this series, so feel free to include any or none as needed :) 

 

Kel - I love her and would love anything about her. Just kicking butt, training a squire/teaching children to similarly kick ass, being competent and sassy like she always is. Anything Post Lady Knight would be lovely - what would she be doing after that? (Will she become Knight Commander of the Own or command something else?) Does she exercise her latent skill as a matchmaker for all her yearmates?

 

Neal - brilliant sarcastic Neal. What were his professors muttering about in the University (about him, most likely)? His many trials of unrequited (and one case of requited) love! Growing old (and more sarcastic) as a knight-healer! Tales of his time with Alanna and George while he was Alanna's squire! Or future fic, when he finds out his daughter wants to be a knight!

 

I love the interactions between Kel and Neal - I always thought that their friendship could last a lifetime :) Anything about their friendship would be much appreciated, little moments of their pagehood/squiredom/knighthood maybe :) I'd love a fic that talks about their growing older (and still hanging out where Neal rants and Kel just takes him down a peg if need be) :) If you are so inclined, I also wonder if there could really have been anything more between them (if not for Kel crushing on Dom instead of him). 

 

Dom - Raoul has said he has a gift for command, I think it'd be a waste if he just stayed a sergeant. Could he become a captain someday? Shenanigans with his squad pranking the Queen's Riders/Raoul/Kel/Neal/unwitting victims? How did Dom prove himself good enough to be a sergeant already when he met Kel? 

 

Neal and Dom have a great relationship as cousins (writing to each other about Kel, no doubt) and supporting each other, anything building on that would be greatly appreciated. (When they were younger? Dom teasing Neal in front of their children? All the letters of the years they've known each other ^^;)

I also love the friendship (tinged with unrequited crushness/flirting) that Dom and Kel have - I would love anything that had that :) And if it progressed, why not? (Maybe when the two are more settled and Kel is older?) 

 

Peachblossom! I love this horse who takes no sass :) Peachblossom's adventures alone or with friends :) Anything with Kel and Peachblossom (and any victims of Peachblossom) would be welcome :) Or how Peachblossom feels about Kel/her mad friends/poor Neal.

 

Lerant - he's been so conflicted, though we only hear from Qasim what he'd gone through being from a disgraced house and we don't hear about him post-Lady Knight. I'd love to know what he was doing post-series - did he decide to properly be a man of the Own or will he stay as Standard Bearer? Does he do other work after the war? Will he eventually avenge the name of Eldorne? (Alternatively, how did Lerant pre-PoTS meet Raoul and his first days in the Own?) And if you are so inclined, I could see romantic tension between Kel and Lerant :)

 

I would also love AUs for this series :) What would they be doing in the real world, with Kel's sense of justice? (Policeman? Judge?) Changes in the series would be welcome also - what if Kel hadn't accepted probation? What if Wyldon hadn't made Kel commander of Haven? What if Alanna had been able to take Kel as her squire? What if Kel had been made to repeat all four years of pagehood?
